How do I change the cursor speed in VS code when navigating with keyboard arrows?

I am using VS Code on a MacBook Pro and would like to change the speed at which the cursor navigates through my script when I press and hold the arrow key on my keyboard, i.e., the nr. of characters the cursor jumps over within a second when holding the arrow key. How do I do this? I wasn't able to find the correct settings yet...
